- With more than 99.5% of ballots counted, the pro-EU Party of Action and Solidarity has won just over half of the votes, while the pro-Russia Patriotic Bloc came in second with 24.26%
- President Maia Sandu accused Russia of 'massive interference' after casting her ballot
- Rival Igor Dodon meanwhile claimed interference came from the West
- Two Russia-friendly parties were disqualified ahead of the vote
