    i sort of depend on this community to not go insane working in tech, so i'm happy it's continuing

    • i'd restart techtakes here except only a very few read it on reddit either lol

      • I really like sneering at hn posts and I always wished techtakes had more traffic. I’m not sure how to swing it from a community growth standpoint (at least til we federate) but there’s always room for more sneer communities here

    • same! sneerclub is like a beacon of sanity when all your coworkers are doing the “ai apocalypse is here when I hook gpt up to a good enough robot” bit and slack won’t stop blowing up

      • slack literally crashed on me this morning, how'd you know

        but yeah, i'm sure we'll be replacing humans with computers any day now
