I just threw away a bottle, I realised spring washers are fine for my purposes.

Threadlocker is serious business. Spring washers are "okay." Lockwashers do absolutely nothing.

I'll bear that in mind. I see I've been downvoted for my unorthodox opinion, and am thoroughly chasteberried.

Frankly, if you really want extra safety on a fastener without going as far as threadlocker, use a shouldered fastener or a Nylock nut.

We're going spring washer, jam nut, Nylock nut and threadlocker. I'm rebuying the threadlocker.
