Hmmm prob a combination of:
- My calls for defederation of .ml
- My calls for boycotting of .ml comms
- My cross-posting of content from .ml comms to non-.ml comms to reduce their influence
- My constant collection of evidence of the .ml admins, mods and Tankie users

.world isn't defederated from .ml? I thought it was, for some reason... Well, it is the admin instance so, I guess.

Its the dev instance and they run official Lemmy dev/support comms from there, they still have a few big comms and some of the only niche comms (both issues I aim to address through cross-posting) and they "keep the mask on" more and keep things subtle to avoid larger defed movements

Unfortunately, I'm getting to the point where I suspect a fork or alternate compatible platform may be needed (rather than just nice to have).

Generally it's because they have their hatred of .ml as the driving force of half their free time. It's weird and off-putting.

Not sure about half their free time, but it does seem that anti-.ml sentiment is the reason, yes.
