If this is seriously how cognitively deficient Lemmy is, then Lemmy is no better than Facebook.
Peer reviewers are expert volunteers. Peer reviewers are NOT paid to complete peer reviews. It is a form of volunteer work.
Peer reviewers DO hold jobs in their respective industries, and are PAID for their actual, non volunteer, jobs.
