I just wish their ignorance only hurt themselves.
So I had the measles back in the mid 90s (the last outbreak). I was vaccinated but still got it cause vaccinations aren't 100%.
I was young. I was hospitalized for like a week. My mom says I almost died.
My memories of it are vague but I do recall being hospitalized. Pneumonia. Something about a kidney infection too. Maybe from being in bad condition.
Measles can damage hearing. Permanently. Measles encephalitis. That can also cause brain damage resulting in permanent cognitive disability.
I was fortunately not one of them. But that can happen.
This isn't some common cold.
Measles kills children or can leave them disabled.
Wtf is wrong with people?
