RTA in Japan における任天堂株式会社が著作権を有するゲーム（以下「任天堂のゲーム」といいます）の利用と、RTA in Japan Summer 2025で任天堂のゲームを利用していないことについて、そこに至った経緯と今後の対応を説明いたします。RTA in Japanでは、これまで任天堂のゲームを利用していましたが、2025年6月13日に任天堂株式会社から、当法人における任天堂のゲームの利用について、「法人による任天堂のゲームの利用には事前の許諾が必要である」こと、当法人のこれまでの利用に「事前の許諾がなく無許諾利用にあたる」ことの指摘がありました。RTA in Japan としては任天堂のゲームを今後も利用することを希望し、任天堂株式会社と許諾に関する協議を開始しました。現時点での決定事項として、今後はイベント・ゲームごとに個別に任天堂株式会社へ許諾申請をRTA in Japanから出すこととなりますが、RTA in Japan Summer 2025 については、採用ゲーム発表のタイミングでは明確な取り扱いを定めることができなかったため、任天堂のゲームの利用を見送りました。RTA in Japan Summer 2025以降にRTA in Japanで開催するイベントでは、都度事前に任天堂株式会社へ許諾申請を出し、許諾を受けることで任天堂のゲームの利用が可能となる見込みです。なお、この影響でRTA in Japanのゲーム応募ガイドラインや応募要項が変わる想定となっており、こちらは内容が決まりましたら速やかにお知らせいたします。また、RTA in Japan Summer 2025において、特に本件に該当するゲームを応募してくださった方は大変申し訳ございませんでした。RTA in Japan 🖊️️🤖

Installing ProMods on Steam Deck:

1. Install ETS2 via Steam, ensure all DLCs. In Properties, set Proton 7.0-4. Launch once to create folders.
2. Download ProMods (7 files, recommend paid for single download). Transfer files to Deck via SD card/Warpinator.
3. Place files in: /home/deck/.steam/steam/steamapps/compatdata/227300/pfx/drive_c/users/steamuser/My Documents/Euro Truck Simulator 2/mod (create folder if missing).
4. Relaunch ETS2, enable ProMods in Mod Manager, prioritize top.
