From Boston to Palestine: Student Encampments Began in Peace and Ended in Handcuffs

People complain if you protest on street corners, or if you block traffic, or if you make a scene, or if you break some billionaires $200 window, and they always say some shit like "Im all for freedom of speech but they shouldn't be doing it like this". And then the same people complain about students chilling on a lawn on a campus that the students have to pay $20k+ a year to be enrolled at. Just like homelessness, people just don't want to be reminded about things that inconvenience them.

There is nowhere you can protest that matters when protesting issues that matter. The state will have none of that, the media will make meaningful movements seem like a joke, and important figures will be extinguished before they are big enough to become martyrs.
