The case against summer

Great article. August really does suck.

I tend to think of "rich folk leaving hot cities in the pre-A/C world for summer" as "summer". Great times.

Does there need to be a case against summer?

It's like writing about the case against hot iron nails being driven into your skin. The reasons are many and obvious, and those who enjoy it should be dismissed as sick freaks of nature.

I don't leave the comfort of our air conditioned house much between late May and mid September. Summer is way, way, way too hot here.
