In the U.S.
NEVER use biometric unlock.
It is NOT protected against a warrant.
Use a PIN. Law enforcement will be required to get a warrant to try and break into your phone.
Can't you put your phone in lockdown?
The problem may be you might not be able to in time with the chaos of being arrested.
