    Felt great during the shave, but it turns out I fell for it and gave myself some irritation. Too much pressure and a false sense of security. It can happen to anyone!

    • Brush: TGS Galaxy 26 mm
    • Razor: Leaf Thorn
    • Blade: Derby Premium half DE
    • Lather: Noble Otter - Neon Sun
    • Post-Shave: Moon Soaps - Old School "balm"

    -> 2 pass head shave and 1 on the neck. Very close & comfortable.

    Today I could already pick up my new glasses - well, they were actually done by Thursday. Extremely fast work & great service. Blue light filter, absolutely no reflections, well-fitting. I am beyond satisfied!

    To celebrate, I picked a great soap with a pleasant scent. Neon Sun is a delightful, timeless fragrance and NO knows how to produce a quality product. The otter mascot on the tub even wears glasses! Sunglasses, but it still counts.

    Otherwise, today was more of a chill day to relax. Starting tomorrow, I have another bout of early shifts until the weekend. Not quite my strong suit, but I'll power through...

  • Nonidi 19 Frimaire an 233 de la Révolution, jour de Sabine

    I managed to eat for lunch mayonnaise that has been expired for 3 years. Obviously, I chose death. The Koraat after some more stropping is not too bad - maybe it will smooth out further.

    A nice Mammoth Monday to kick off the week. I chose a mix of contrasting warm frags for this one. From a woody winter cabin kind of hyggelig warmth, to the dry warmth of Marlborough, to finally the gourmand sweet warmth of Tobacco Vanille. Delightful.

    The TI 14 has become a favourite in my den.

    I woke up this morning to this soap and splash laid out in the bathroom. My wife had sniffed through my soaps this morning and picked out what she wanted me to use. Luckily, this fragrance is one I very much enjoy!

    I definitely underloaded the brush and had to spend more time than usual adjusting. I think I just didn't have enough water in the brush while loading.

    Still a great shave in the end though. The Super Speed is a mild and understated razor, but it definitely performs.

    Off to face the Monday.

    These scents are a vibe. Such a great shave!
