Dude has not said one thing about Canadian politics but how much he dislikes trudeau. He just wants to be in at the same time his pal trump get in. That's it. He doesn't give a damn about Canada as far as I have seen.
I think he also wants to get in before the trade war starts. It will negatively impact his campaign if Canadians are actively pissed with trump, and therefore trump's admirers.
Sounds like the same playbook as Trump and Le Pen.
