Small video sizes...why ?

I often see that many movies are available in x265 1080p and the file size is between 1.5GB to max 3GB, like RARBG and PSA

Are these releases good enough for a 65 inch TV?

What is the idea with the small sizes?

There are still plenty of places in the world where bandwidth isn't the greatest
There are still people stuck with data caps and/or paying per GB
Storage still costs money that many people who are forced to resort to piracy don't have, and/or increases expenses for those seeding
Most people aren't "quality snobs" - they just want to watch something for the story, not to see every zit each actor has on their face during filming.
For many shows, I'm personally just fine with even 720p, which downloads MUCH more quickly. The quality you describe is actually the maximum I'd ever likely bother with.
To each their own.
