Quintidi 15 Nivôse an 233 de la Révolution, jour de Lapin
This was a test-shave for my new hone of the Parker – which worked rather well. I had used the La Lune natural stone, and it is both sharp, and comfortable.
Have a good day!

Almost forgot to post (again). I'm still sick which is just ridiculous! It must be back-to-back viruses or something. Yesterday and today I felt achy, but acetaminophen does a great job at treating that symptom. The rest of my symptoms are mild, but annoying.
Anyway, this shave was good. This soap base doesn't give me any problems, but there's just something sort of boring about it. It works, but doesn't thrill me. I've heard more recent versions of the vegan base are an improvement.
Another symptom I've had today is decreased smell. This morning it was basically nill, so I couldn't smell the soap much.
I restarted the Lemmy server since there seemed to be a bit of lag, and the Scheduling Bot was doing double posts again. Here's to some increased stability and performance. 🥂
This scent combo is a bit all over the place, but hear me out, because this really works. Christmas Eve is walking the edge between woody and gourmand in the first place, so I decided to lean in with more warm woody Marlborough and coconana goodliness of Don Josè. A perfect winter holiday combo that I stumbled upon.

It was a lovely shave with the MMOC. The blade is in that sweet spot between sharpness and comfort. I got a little too close on my ATG pass, but nothing too bad. The results were very smooth.
GTB is a tub that I might be able to kill in 2025. The bottom is definitely starting to show through. Whether I can follow through with the tub kill is a different story...
Have a great Saturday all!
