Sirens Post First Shutout Of The Season, Prevail 5-0 Over Frost
SAINT PAUL, MN (January 4, 2025) – The New York Sirens recorded the first shutout of the 2024-25 PWHL season, skating to a 5-0 victory over the Minnesota Frost on Saturday afternoon at Xcel Energy Center. Sirens goaltender Corinne Schroeder earned first star honors with a 26-save performance, and forward Alex Carpenter recorded a goal and an assist to set a PWHL record with a seven-game point streak. The Sirens were also led offensively by Jessie Eldridge who had a goal and two assists, Abby Roque with a goal and an assist, and single tallies by Sarah Fillier and Chloé Aurard. Minnesota rookie Lucy Morgan faced 34 shots in her first career start between the pipes.
