Looks to me as if an active coup is currently under way.
And we're going to find out if there's anyone in Washington who's going to try to stop it.

  No, people are all talk. Very few people wanna do anything uncomfortable. Not only that, fed workers get paid good and have amazing benefits. They'll bitch and moan, but very few will do anything drastic.
  
  It's really sort of astonishing sometimes how complete your lack of integrity is.
Well, why would anyone do that unless they were up to something shady? Is there some legitimate reason for this? Seems doubtful.
