Is it just me, or does $8k seem like a really small amount of money for hiring a hitman? Did they have a coupon?
People are dumb. I've seen cop shows where they pay the "hitman" $500-$2K for a hit.
If some enterprising disruptor startup started doing hits for $500, we’d solve the traffic problems in LA and the Bay Area in less than a week.
That seems about right if the hitman is local, it's a small area, and they're just starting out. You get that word of mouth advertising going then you can start charging a higher rate, charging for travel, and making a real living.
New customer discount, you know how these online services are nowadays
