I know that best practice is to be using a VPN and to be picky about what and why you download in the first place but I was wondering if getting a torrent from a new or unknown site versus from a popular site increases chances of anonymity. I assume that if a torrent is posted to both sites its the same as getting it from the popular site anyhow right? noob question but really wondering about this.
