I used to be an avid torrenter but haven’t done so for a few years, and I need to get back into it as Ad0be upped their prices and I can’t justify coughing up for them any more. I’ve spent a week lurking on here and I feel a bit overwhelmed as everything I knew previously has changed - there’s conflicting opinions on Utorrent, TPB is down and it seems like you need much more robust malware protection than you did previously.

How do I go about torrenting in 2025? I still have Tor but nothing else. Could anyone recommend a good torrent client (for Mac, and yes I know Windows/Linux is better but this is what I’ve got), malware protection software and the best sites for downloads? I’m looking for Adobe Photoshop, Lightroom and Premiere Pro right now.
