MARCH MADNESS 2025 DAY 22
Reflection somehow reminds me of camping with my family as a really young lad. It kind of puts me in a somber mood, but its a lovely scent.

I'm bummed Stirling didn't make the cut yesterday, but someone had to go.
Froggr is a nice anisic scent that I really enjoy, though it gave my skin a bit of a tingle. It wasn't unbearable, but it was noticable. Maybe I'm also sensitive to anise oil? I hope not, because I love the scent of anise.
Have a great Saturday y'all.
I’m bummed about Stirling too. A product line of such good quality and so vast and that has been around for a long time is somehow easy to overlook.

This was a test shave of my first edge from my new La Petite Blanche coticule. Since this is a vintage razor that I just purchased and have not used with other edges of mine, it was not really a fair test of a new stone. Nonetheless, I had a very close and comfortable shave. I look forward to evaluating this stone on razors that I am already familiar with.
Bon Temps Barbershop has a subtle and very pleasant barbershop scent in a soap base that is tailored for straight razor shavers. It performs brilliantly.

Quick SLS before a soccer match this evening (go Roots!).
I like Mike's.

Looks like TSF lives to fight another day and that Stirling is out. Maybe a late shaver will save it at the expense of HoM before the official tally?

I had a very nice early morning shave with Cognac and Cuban Cigars, such a pleasant, easy scent. Now I'm sitting in the train to the alps to spend a couple snow days with Djunior before warm spring weather brings grass and cows where there are sleds and kids now.

My favorite HoM scent for cold weather. Cognac and Cuban cigars is a real-life dream for me. Cuban cigars are banned for sale in the US. There’s a black market here, but I don’t know how to reach it. I manage to make-do with Cognac (or Armagnac) and non-Cuban cigars, though :)
I had a brief phase where I smoked Cuban cigars, but stopped about 20 years ago. Tobacconist still smells glorious to me :)
Did you get a few Cuban cigars in the brief window when sanctions got lessened during Obama?
