#PhotoOfTheDay is not Mars, it's Haleakala crater on Maui. It's such a great location for this and other amazing views, I consider it a "must see" when visiting Maui.

@croyle@wandering.shop Definitely a must see. We saw it on a partly cloudy day, and it was amazing to be standing up there above the clouds. Chilly though, especially in January
- @z_mcfate@shouldagoneoffroad.com NIce! We've been up there 3 or 4 times I think. Once was very cloudy, and we could see a puffy cloud coming right at us, then pass through us! That was a pretty cool experience... I also like how when it's clear and you look out over the Pacific, you can see the curvature of the Earth. Fun place... Maui has a lot of cool spots like that.
