And if you're wondering ... Its automatic, not manual

Not my car, I didnt think I'd be giving my test at the time. Assumed it would happen a couple days later. Dude told me to give it right then. I told him I didnt have my car and he called this guy. I gave him some cash to use his car for a minute. (And yes the driving test takes under 1 minute here)
Did you pass?
Before I even gave the test ....
I now have experience bribing people too
Maybe I'm dumb, but I think the term is to "take a test", not "give a test", unless you're the one testing someone else.
Honestly looks fun to drive, would have preferred manual though :(
It was in a hell of a state. The interior in particular. Jesus
Suzuki Mehran. Probably the most common car here.
They wouldn't let me use mine. The seat belts were not the type that roll up into the wall. Had to borrow a friend's car. Guess I'm getting old.
This car had no seatbelt in it. They record videos of people giving tests here so the man gave me a lil fake belt to put on my shoulder.
it's the perfect city car. park it anywhere, drive it anywhere. nobody will steal it. nobody will try breaking into it.
the 800cc engine gives fantastic fuel economy. and its engine to body weight ratio makes it a proper beast in hilly regions.
this model was called the Maruti 800 in india (maruti tied up with suzuki here and the 800 refers to the engine displacement). its successor is the Maruti Alto (available in 800cc and 1000cc engine variants).
do look up the "King Alto" meme online to see how astonishingly well this design performs on the slippery slopes of the hinalayan foothills.
Yeah alto, cultus and Mehran are the 3 cars of this ilk
