Mounted Police Officer Charges Through Crowd of Protesters in Los Angeles (i.e. stupid cops in LA put horses as well as people in unnecessary danger)

I still fail to understand why the police need to clear peaceful protesters.

Are they in public streets and government land they pay taxes for?

Are they on private land of companies that exist because of the government infrastructure they pay for?

Both are the same thing, just let them be.
