Personally I'd argue that they're fine for someone that wants to go to a school to learn how to do better!
They're really not that bad though? Not very "artistic", but so far as pictures of buildings go they're not exactly terrible.
Not exactly fine art material, and obviously he was still an awful evil person, but terrible? If your friend painted those you'd be gassing them up.
