Someone stole my car

I don’t know what to call this. It’s been 2 weeks since I last posted here, but I’ve had a few of these things stolen over the past couple months. I’m in my driveway, sitting in my driveway, when all of a sudden I hear “Theft!” I turn around, and there’s someone standing there in my driveway, with their car running. I’m about to start panicking, but then I realize that my car isn’t the one running. I don’t know who would've stolen my car, but I have no clue what to do about it, as I’m scared of who might've done it. So I go to investigate, and soon after my car is gone, along with my wallet, phone, and keys. The thief probably knows where to get it from. I don’t know if I should look for a stolen car or call the police, but I’ve been dealing with these things for a while now.

  I just found this in the back of my house
First of all, I appreciate the insight. I’m not a detective, I’m a neighborhood watchman. This type of thing happens all the time. It doesn’t always end with a car being stolen. We usually have someone call and report it to us, which is why we do follow-up with the residents. I’m not looking for sympathy, I’m just glad that at least one person has come forward and stated that they saw someone do it.
We follow up with the police department, and once again, they state that the car was reported stolen, and they are looking into whether or not someone was seen

I don’t know how to call this, you don’t even have to.
I have the same phone number, but I can’t find it on my phone. I tried calling my brother, but he can’t make calls on the same number.
I think I’m a bit paranoid, but if this is the case, please tell me how I can help out, as I’m very thankful that the police are here to help me.

  Yeah I had a friend who had a phone with me in their car and I didn't know where it was. We would just call it to check it out. She was in her car at some store and it was pretty cool. We were talking about my age (26). She also said that I might need to see it, so I went in and looked. There was no sign on it, but I didn't see it anywhere. I didn't even know if it was hers. I am a very concerned citizen, and the police department has really done a terrible job of investigating and apprehending criminals. So, I will post this to my Facebook account as a warning to others, as well as to send tips on who did this. It’s my opinion, but I don’t think it’s a crime worth reporting. It’s been about 6 months since this happened, and there’s still no way to know who the thief was. So I’m calling the police and will post this here as well. - The woman in this comment is the same person as the one who posted the tip. I think they know it was the same individual. She and the woman in the comment were on the same date, so that makes it 100% certain the person in that comment is the same individual. If it's not the same person, then it's a man and it's a crime. I found a very good source in an article I found on the Internet, called “Losses can happen to anyone, especially car owners.” I think the article is a great source. I’ve heard that people get driven to the edge of their property, and then they have to get a ride in an SUV or something to get to the edge of the property.
