Nashville church is looking into taking a 'God bless you' card
“Jesus didn’t bless me with a card,” church leader tells Pastor Greg Stefferman’s mother before they meet on Jan. 6
“That’s inappropriate”, church says in statement on “raging” emails.
“There is no Jesus in the Gospels.” -Pastor Greg, mother of three, in rebuttal to my message.
“I just want to say, I don’t know who to make this contact with.” -Megyn, father of one, tells me.
“You should probably save your marriage,” I say.
“It’s not like we are going to have a meeting tomorrow and then nothing will happen, right?” -She responds, “The meeting will be today and she will make a statement.”
“Okay, but don’t waste your time, go get her mom and sister a gift card, and don’t call me until then.”
Might be a good idea….
“So, what did Jesus say to Mary and didn’t she say to him?”
“Amen.”
The text is the 13th Luke chapter of the OT, and it’s the closest we have to Jesus ever saying “Amen” to anything.
The earliest surviving copies have Jesus crucifying a man-made cross, which would make him the Paul of the gospels.
So I am reaching out to you, fellow secular human, to see if there is any reputable organization that will take a message from my wife, or father, and get it into your

I think it could work. Jesus is the only person who would recognize this. I don't know how he would know that he himself isn't the one. A good point is that Jesus was the only person who could have been there when Paul came to the Ephesians, which is the third century. He would be a red-handed apostate, but he wouldn't have known that Paul was the one. The other problem is that Jesus was a teacher, not a preacher. So he wouldn't know that Paul had come to him to be a preacher. Jesus wasn't a good preacher, he was a teacher. Now I'm thinking: Jesus would have known that he wasn't a good preacher.
No, they are a Christian organization, but they don't support trans people. That's how you get them.
“Jesus didn’t bless you with a card. He didn’t bless you with a card,” said the woman, who is now a registered nurse, “Jesus didn’t bless you with a card.”<|soocr u/HPUser7|>Jesus didn't bless you with a card?<|soocr u/HPUser7|>The man said in his letter that he didn’t bless you with a card, it’s in the Bible and he said “Jesus didn’t bless you with a card.”<|soocr u/HPUser7|>I’m not going to argue with you there, that’s not the way. Jesus didn’t bless you with a card. Jesus didn’t bless you with a card.<|soocr u/HPUser7|>Jesus didn’t bless you with a card?<|soocr|>Jesus didn’t bless you with a card. Jesus did. So yeah he is not that god damn nice but Jesus is a loving, caring, loving, caring god. I hope to never meet a Jesus who isn’t a loving, caring, loving, loving god. Jesus doesn’t want me to
A man was shocked that a stranger was calling him a card in the middle of the day. The church leader quickly intervened, saying that the man shouldn’t say those things, that he was not the one calling the man a “card” and that he was not welcome to make those kinds of comments in front of the whole church. The man was clearly being very rude, but the church leader didn’t seem to care at all. He was clearly on the receiving end of the remark. So the church leader said that the man should stop saying those things and that he should leave the man alone. The man did leave the man’s car, but it was in a different direction than where he was going. I hope that this clears it up.
The guy was clearly not getting anything. He was saying “Jesus didn’t bless you with a card, you should go to church and give yourself a hard pass, you know.” The guy got very angry, said, “You do have the right to live where you are!” And left the car in the other direction.
Jesus doesn't bless you with a card. He blesses you with a card.
This, but... I believe you. The pastor says in the same way that he didn’t bless you, Jesus didn’t bless you with a card.
Jesus didn’t bless you with a card. He didn’t bless you with a card. He didn’t bless you with a card. He didn't bless you with a card. He didn’t bless you with a card. He didn’t bless you with a card.
Jesus wasnt supposed to bless you with a card.
He said I was to not become his follower, but rather be his friend. He said it again, and again, and again. He said I wasn’t to become his friend, but rather be his friend. He repeated it three times. He said that I wasn’t to become his friend, but rather be his friend. I didn’t understand him. He said that I wasn’t to become his friend, but rather be his friend. He said that I was to become his friend. But he never said that I should become his friend. He said that I was to become his friend. But I didn’t understand him. He said that I wasn’t to become his friend. He said that I wasn’t to become his friend. But I didn’t understand him. He said that I wasn’t to become his friend. He said that I was to be his friend. But I didn’t understand him. He said that I wasn’t to become his friend. And then he stopped talking. I felt it. It was then. I felt pain. Pain in my chest. But then I didn’t know why I felt it. I felt it. I tried to move. I tried to pull away. I tried to pull away. But he kept saying. I couldn’d pull away. But he wouldn’d pull me. And I didn’t let go away. But he didn’t let go. And I kept saying to him. And then I felt it was gone. And I tried to live. He said that was gone. And that was wrong. He said that was wrong. He didn’d never meant what he said. And I knew.
I didn't even read that as an apology for all that I said.
Dear Ms. L.A. You’re my son, my first born. If I didn’t honor your request I’d be making an announcement before you were even born. You have a great honor to attend a place of worship and I sincerely appreciate it.
“It was a gift,” church member says. “A blessing not a blessing.”
(MUST READ: This story is so great and I just had to share.)
*The text reads, “God bless you, son.”. The context of the text could be the mother thanking the church for baptizing her son. The church would prefer that the mother not be identified. They will meet with her on that date.
*The father is looking into getting his child a card, but that may not be an option since the church has not heard back from them. The father told the pastor he wishes to be included, but is uncomfortable with a public meeting. The pastor told him to hold out his card.
*The mother has not received a reply from the church. She is still planning on meeting with them at the church on Sunday to discuss baptism. The father told her he hoped the church would bless her. “That would be a God bless you,” the mother told the pastor.
*The father is disappointed with the church’s response to his message, saying they seem to be more interested in getting in front of who this little boy really is rather than listening to him. The father said the church’s lack of response makes him feel like they’re not really listening to him. He’s not sure how to respond to that.
*The mother told me she hoped the father would come and see that the church is listening to her. “They haven’t responded, and I don’t know why they wouldn’t listen to me.”

“God bless you and Jesus didn’t bless me with a card, he didn’t do that, he didn’t give me a card.” “But he did give me a gift card, so I will take that and give you the gift card if you want it,” says leader. “But I can tell you that it was a gift card.”
Stefferman’s mother’s father was born in Vermont, grew up in Vermont, served in the Vermont National Guard, served as a Captain in the Vermont National Guard, earned a master's degree from Vermont College of Medicine and Medicine, and is a registered nurse. He has no financial problems, but he is concerned about what could happen if he has a card and they never meet.
“I can tell you that if we do have the same feelings as you, I can’t imagine you, you don’t want to be with me anymore.”
Pastor Greg Stefferman’s mother and grandmother leave church as she speaks, but don’t get lost in the crowd. She asks him to speak to her at her church and he says he will be back, but does not return to church until after 10:30 a.m. She asks if he will be back when she wakes him up, but he says he will not be. She takes her seat in the waiting room.

“Jesus didn’t bless you with a card,” pastor’s mother says in email. “That’s terrible.” “I can’t believe it’s happening again”, according to pastor’s mom. “It really pisses me off that they’re like, I don’t know if I’m supposed to be meeting with her at 3 p.m. on a Wednesday or something, so I guess I’m just looking for some excuses to not be there to talk to her.”

“Our pastor has two children, a 3 and a 5.” The oldest child is a teenager and the youngest is a toddler. “They are very involved, very involved with the church.” The mother, church leader says, “They know what is going on.” The oldest child’s mom, Pearl, is not a church attendee and would not be involved in this decision making process if it was made her. “There should be no reason to suspect that the children are not being truthful or doing things that are not in keeping with church teachings.”
We understand the church will have more information when they have more time, but for now, the church is keeping a close eye on the three children and their mother.
Thank you for all of your input. It is extremely helpful to hear from you and I am grateful to have this opportunity to share it with you.
UPDATE:
I reached out to the mother and asked her if she wanted to speak with the pastor before the meeting. She says she’s not against the meeting but that she’d have to check with the 5 year old first. “I will.” The mother said, “I don’t know if I’m comfortable with it or not.” The meeting is set for 7:30 at St. Luke’s Church in downtown Nashville.
UPDATE 2:
The meeting has been rescheduled for Jan. 6 at 7:30 CST
As a mom of a 5 year old I cannot help but wonder how she feels about a 6 year old. It would be so horrible if they were to see someone she had just met. I hope she is safe. I wish the community was better.
Hi Mom! Thank you so much for joining us on this important work! Your work is extremely important and I know you are busy. I wanted to let you know that we are continuing to make great progress on this important issue. It will take some time before we fully understand what this child is going through but I know that you are doing everything you can to help. I know you are busy with school and things like that, but I wanted to take some time to say thanks and take some time to pray for this family. I know that they are grateful for all you are doing. Thank you!
The whole thing was set up as a publicity stunt, so now this is the most upvoted post in r/notinteresting, and this was posted by someone trying to create attention for an upcoming post.
What a load of bullshit. No one asked you to give the card. You said no. You don't need to make it a part of your personal life because you're a human being. ”Jesus didn’t bless me with a card,” church leader tells Pastor Greg Stefferman’s mother before they meet on Jan. 6 ”You don’t need to make it a part of your personal life” church leader says, according to the church website ”If Jesus didn’t bless you with a card,” the pastor tells his mother, her voice cracking and tears coming to her eyes,” he wouldn’t give the card to her. ”You don’t need to make it a part of your personal life” church leader says, according to the church website The pastor's mother told WSMV-TV she was not told the church would take the card and would not be able to bring it in to the church. ”You don’t need to make it a part of your personal life” church leader says, according to the church website ”The card isn’t going to be given to you,” he tells his mother, his voice cracking. ”You don’t need to make it a part of your personal life” he says. ”No’t’t’t’t’t’t’t’t’t’t’t’

I’m not sure if that's true, but I think it’s pretty clear that this card is being presented as a gift. I think Jesus himself was the recipient.

Yes I did, it was my first time seeing it today
Jesus didn’t ask for a card.
Jesus Christ, my God he did. So kind to you for letting my mom know what she likes. Happy cake day!
