My roommates have been complaining that I’m cheating. I don’t know what they mean.

I have a roommate who lives with me who also happens to be a huge douche canoe. They’re all very nice people, but one of the complaints I hear from them is that I am cheating on them with a guy who lives with me but doesn’t know about us. They’re all very nice people. I think it’s hilarious that they’re all so nice, then they all come out and say it in a bragging tone. It’s kinda funny to me.

Yeah, they are not complaining. Just because they aren’t complaining doesn’t mean they aren’t going to tell you.
I would go on record saying I don’t cheat on my friends with the people I live with, but if I had to choose, I would choose that guy over the one I live with.
The same can be said about me. I’m not cheating on anyone with the people I live with, and I would never do something that would make my roommates and neighbors upset.

I guess it is funny but I’m not sure how you’re finding the word. Sorry I guess If its not the same person in a new relationship or with a new person, it may be "were not as good as you."
Great post. I’m not going to respond to all of your comments. You can keep talking about how great Reddit is. I’m not even going to respond to the first comment because that’s not relevant. I will however, repost the original post from a friend of mine as I think it has some really great points. The original post is a great starting point. If there are any other redditors out there that can help clarify what they mean by the term “cheating” I’m greatly appreciated.
Edit: I didn’t realize how much this has blown up. I did not realize how much this was just a bunch of people making fun of me. I’ll take any advice that you can provide. If you have any tips on how to improve your dating skills I’ll be happy to help. I’ll also be making a post in Reddit as well to let my friends know about this as well. Thank you all.

Yes! It’s hilarious. I’ve been hearing it from the boys in the house since the first time they’s been looking at me and I’ve been trying to stop them and they’ve been trying to stop me. They’re like, 'What’s wrong with you?’And I’m like ‪I’m sorry, but’ ‪I’ll be back next week.’ I’ll do my best to keep up with all you guys but ‪you’ll have to let me know when you’ll be going again’!

"It's funny to me because I'm a guy." It's pretty funny, really. It's funny because it's all a form of socialization. They're trying to manipulate you into not being comfortable with your sexuality. That's the first step on the socialization process. There's also an expectation of being like a nice guy, in that if you're good looking, you're doing okay. Like, good looking guys are nice guys, and women are supposed to like guys like that. It's a social construct, and you‪re supposed to like it, right? So, when that socialization process goes wrong, you're supposed to get over it. If I‪m trying to be like a nice guy, I'm going to screw up. I'm going to get into fights with everyone in the house, and I'm going to be a douche. But if you go out and have fun, I'm going to get a girlfriend.   I have had this issue as a man for the past 3 years, I’ve tried to get more in touch with women I feel I like and I feel like I’m always a loser because of it. I’ve always been jealous of that and I’ve wanted to be closer to being attractive.
