Navajo code-talkers in WW2 used the same word.
Also America was "Our Mother" and South America was "South Our Mother"
Also don't look up "Africa" or "Japan" in the code-talker lexicon. Or do, I'm a shitposter, not a cop.

Exactly as racist as you'd think. Which really hows how confident they were in the Navajo language as the first layer of the cipher. Once decoded a lot of it is very obvious.
According to this dictionary, "Africa" was "blackies" and "Japan" was "slant eye".
