This stands as one of my favorite sci-fi alien visitor movies to date.
For me, it is the movie Alien, then this movie.
Alien isn't a "visitor" movie. I'm talking about Close Encounters, E.T., Fire in the Sky, Signs, etc... Visitors to earth.
In terms of all alien sci-fi, Alien is tops.
The orthogonal writing system of the creatures, and the non-linear time exposition was way too cool. Made me think the author or director had done ayahuasca or DMT.
