Well of course it is. Broadcast TV is mostly shit, and other streaming services are often more adult-oriented.
And most are paid subscription only and fragmented.
How about BBC or other local providers?
BBC One usually has documentaries that kids aren't interested by, and BBC Two tends to fill the daytime with Flog It! and Homes Under The Hammer. ITV 1 is the same, only with Dickinson's Real Deal and trashy reality shows. Channel 4 is like BBC One: uninteresting documentaries and high-brow reality. Channel 5 is more reality. I have never seen a local TV provider worth watching (I live in north east England and central Scotland).
