Perhaps we can take inspiration from the ingenuity of early twentieth century inventors who created things like rolling stock wheels, air-con wingsuit suits & rollerblades. Or perhaps we should ponder the impact of technology that hasn't yet been invented? For example, imagine that advances such as the automated driving systems of the future will eventually allow us travel with ease. The potential benefits of these vehicles are huge, and considering their cost per mile they seem to make good money for everyone involved. Of course also consider the impact these cars could cause in other ways. Consider the social costs associated with having a mass production line for new cars. Theres likely a lot less room for error in vehicle design, and smaller cars mean fewer options for consumers. If all these vehicles were built under the hood and sold to us in mass quantities, imagine thousands upon millions sitting unused on the lot. Imagine the waste and pollution caused when production stops

I get that they can't make the cars that people want to buy, but they are making cars that people want to sell, which is what I'd buy instead of a car that people want to buy
Its not because they dont like the look of them. Theyre just not trying.

Well that's understandable, because people have their preferences.
BEGIN TEXT OF POST.
The first thing i learned when studying a new hobby was how important posting is to helping others learn. And this applies to making new friends and working on social skills as well :)
"Why do you not sell a car that people really want." What was so wrong about the original question, anyway. It's like asking why doesn't someone buy a sports car after they've already bought one. I can only think of one good reason.
Ah, no, I don’t think I understand that one well. /uj I mean, I’d argue that because it doesn’t happen, but the only way that it could happen is if a transphobe buys a car.
a man asks "so are you buying a car or something" and I respond with, well if they were to make the vehicles my family would buy , they'd make that car "my dad made it so youd get a ride"
My reply is that they have no idea what Im saying, he was talking about what a driver makes. He responds asking how many of my family has a car, I tell him I dont know. predictably then he goes off about how "his comment isnt even relevant to our conversation" and how he was "just trying hard for you!". He proceeds into describing how he is not in the car for his own sake but because my parents are, the same way, and it seems like he has some sort of special relationship between my father (my brother) & myself. thing. At this point its getting hard to think straight and backtracking. It seems like my response has no meaning at all to the interaction I had with him. And now itll be another two weeks til hes driving somewhere...
it was fun, the other day my friend sent me a screenshot of a car and said,
This comment was actually quite nice. I’m a fan of this car and I really wanted to make sure that he was just being supportive and not trying to be rude. But he’s got such a positive energy that it’s hard to read that way, even for those who’re not as into cars as I am, that’s just not what this comment says.
I’m not sure that's a great question. It's a dumb question, I know, but I don't know if it's a dumb question or a dumb answer. But if your question was, well, dumb, it's probably not going to get very deep into the stupid sub anyway. If you ask dumb questions, people will dumb things down and make stupid replies. If you ask dumb questions, people will dumb things down, and you're in for a really long time.
That was just a joke, you can't buy a car. If he wanted a car he'd get a job and work and pay for his car, but that’s not the case with our society. Our society has become so convoluted that even if a man gets a job, he has no obligation to actually show up and actually work. It is the companies that are providing a service, it is not for us.
This guy clearly had an open mind (in this case actually really deep one) when responding but after seeing me use phrases such as 'that person who says yes' doesn't seem particularly friendly either…
This guy seems a bit too far into the car industry and his "dont be so hasty" approach, when that guy actually just said hed give the car to anyone who asks for it, makes you wonder if this guy actually has a really deep understanding of his own behavior, or if it is just a bigoted jerk.
|eols|>Yeah, your friends may feel like I'm being selfish by leaving them out, but I've been feeling like I’ve taken the piss lately.

| So many car companies out there. People 💁 think that they have to sell cars because they are expensive or bad for a certain reason, but this isnt true. I wanted an answer like "why" here so we could all agree on it being something down below cost.
omg please take this time to read my reply. <|eui|>
This is such a good point. I have bought a few car and I think they are all excellent. The car in question is the XS, it's the perfect car for me. This post is unironically an article I saw in a news site, but I'm just here to point out that I have a car.

No replies to this post. I was just trying to help.<|sor u/Nihth_Ola_the_God|>I agree that I would never see anything like this<|soocr|>Oh, you do get it. Just the right amount of unrelated as well. I mean he's not just talking about old cars or anything, he means the kind where it looks like an old model, but one with an interesting backstory and an odd history. You can see that there is a lot of talk in this thread about the "greatest cars" or how the only cars that are truly original were those that were on the market at the time, and all the newer ones are from the '80-90 era. Its not that they were original, its because they were from. Like, a bit more 'Old World' than the cars we see today, but still quite original. And itd be cool if they were actually new. Or at least not-old. :D
I agree. They can’t, because it would make them look like they’re selling their product. It’s all about the money, right?

You may want to read this answer to your own question from /u/nhognin on why we don't see cars that look like the old Soviet Union cars.
Well, there are too many companies that do that and that's the thing. I think it's a shame the only ones that are doing anything for people right now are the ones that don't even bother trying to get us.
I used to have a car. It got towed, I went to the dealership. The mechanic said "I don't think your car is worth $500" and hung up. I said "it's worth $500" and he said, "that's what it is, you just need to pay the $100" !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
No it isnt. The point is to sell people shitty cars.
Why does they always make cars with ugly looking lines? It’s not just a choice. People want to buy the cars, they want to know what a good looking car looks like and what a quality one looks like. If they didn’t make cars with ugly lines, they would’ve had customers like me say that they’re trash.
,
sit the other posts about the same subject, youre bound by a lot of rules about what you can post. So, my question is: why do car makers always have to put so many restrictions on what people can do?
They don't, but they can.
Because the car companies know how to sell. They just don't care.
Because they don't want to alienate the majority of their customers. They want to make money, they want to make money, they want to make money. You can't have one without the other. !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Just so everyone knows how this all works out.... 1st off if anyone has ever been in one of these "miniature yachts" you would think it was going to be like taking an old Cadillac but instead its exactly what we are seeing here... I’m from England and the only place I can get a car is in England, there is a lot of British cars from the same ownership. I know of at least 5 cars in my country that I’m from, but there’s no one I know that doesn’t own one. So why the fuck can car companies be like this when so much of their business is related to the desire to own things? I am a British trans man who has owned a car in the US and it’s really frustrating to hear from a car company when the only one who actually owns a car is a British one, that is completely different and doesn’t apply to my country at all. I wish more companies were as aware about this.
They make new cars. The "old" ones you are seeing are the ones that have already been out in the market for a few years. They don’t have to make them, they just need to be available in some form to someone who wants to buy them.
It's a shame the old cars are still out there. It's amazing how many people still have those old cars and are still able to drive them. I personally keep my old cars on the way so I don’t see why I would want a new one.

So if this is an auto dealer I could understand why they might be hesitant to sell it again. It will probably be a lot easier to buy it again if it isnT being sold by someone who has only recently experienced these types Of Things.

[For those concerned about their safety and property because of this experience, how much time do you guys have to take care towards the owners of vehicles? Is it really OK to assume that buyers can only buy a vehicle once or maybe even twice per year? Or should they be more diligent in picking a brand of used vehicle every year? "A year ago, I asked for a good new 2016 Holden Commodore and I got one. There was absolutely no way this thing would come back to life unless I paid more attention to it. But now, thanks... The Commodore is not just one of Australia''s great brands... But it deserves more recognition!"

...why do they just not get it?...
edit - Doc will read out the full text of our conversation:
yesterday evening I went to dinner with my wife at a restaurant close by. The food was amazing and we had great chats throughout. At some point during the dinner conversation someone pulls up and asks what's going on. I'm usually quick to say no and steer them away but when I saw the confused look on her face she started trying for a lead. I quickly tell her everything is ok and that there are lots who really want to get in touch with me and that it doesn't seem like all car companies are that way. She tried getting back to the topic after, asking again about why they cant build vehicles specifically for people. After pausing for a bit to consider, saying "and does that mean you think maybe they arent the best people to build vehicles for?" She looks dead ass at me as if I just said "that makes perfect logical sense." Now I have two more convos to go. Do I piss everyone off by answering this directly? Or am
The truth is the most important thing. They can make better vehicles. They can't make vehicles that people want to buy.
|<|>If you don't have a car, why dont you spend the money to buy one, or do you think we should wait until everyones own car prices have fallen off to buy a used vehicle? Or do ya know if any of these things work?

Thank you. Ive been out a couple times with my wife. And I guess that means they know they can just drive home after we’ve had sex.
I don't understand your question. A lot of the time it takes a couple tries, but then it's really not that difficult.
I’m so glad I can get them to make the cars I want them to buy because they just aren't worth it to make them. Like they aren’t really making it because they think people want to buy it. It’s just because it doesn’t work. It’s just a fetish.
I think a lot of people do like cars.
I feel you. They make some pretty amazing cars in the sims 3. But like all the other cars in the sims 4 they’re either awful, broken, or they’re just plain out trash. If they want to make a good car they’ll probably have to go and buy a different car. I get that they do make some good cars but for the life of me I don’t think it’s worth it to make the cars that people want.
I'm actually confused. Are the car companies that make the cars you want to buy only make money off the sale of the car? Or is it possible that they make money off the sale of the car but also make money off the leasing of the car? !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

i1,
. I think this is also a question of self-preservation :P Reply confirming information about your answer with "Yes" or indicating no intent to respond in any manner (eg. reply back): . No responses/answers, nothing more at all! This might have come out if you had been able as soon after being asked what it was like when she drove one; because there's already lots going into explaining why they don't sell her another vehicle...and then answering questions along these lines can be frustrating for most folks who are pretty experienced here :)
Because people buy a lot of new cars all the time. So when it becomes profitable for you to build a new vehicle it tends to be the same as building a new car. The extra money from the extra labor for making the new vehicle means that it's more valuable than making a new car every year.
That's really what I'm trying to say. People have to realize that it's not going to be a new car for years, it will be an old car. Don't beat yourself up over this, just keep putting in the work to keep the old car out of the way.
They're already very well adjusted. They just don't want to deal with the backlash from people who are not on board with their cars. What Im saying is, they probably wouldnt have bothered to do what they were doing anyway, because the backlash will just get worse. And its not like that backlash will affect the customer who actually wants the car. Theyll simply say theyre going to make it and then itll be over.
I would also go with "Yes, I know what a typical auto is and it's not that complicated but I'm just curious what car it actually is, I would be happy to answer it but I don't think I would have to give an explanation, so I'd prefer to keep it to myself."
I think the answer is "Its an auto" but its not the auto itself. Its the way its driven and the way its made. If you asked it "Whats the car," it would be an auto. If you asked it "What is the car?" it would be an auto. What is a car? Its an object. If its not a car, its not a thing. What is a car? Its an object. If its not a car, its not a thing. What is a car? Its an object. If its not a car, its not a thing. What is a car? Its an object. If its not a car, its not a thing. What is a car? Its an object. If its not a car, its not a thing. What is a car? Its an object. If its not a car, its not a thing. What is a car? Its an object. If its not a car, its not a thing. What is a car? Its an object. If its not a car, its not a thing. What is a car? Its an object. If its not a car, its not a thing. What is a car? Its an object. If its not a car, its not a thing. What is a car? Its an object.
You need to understand what a "typical" auto is and it's not that complicated. The most common car we see in the real world is the Honda Odyssey (not the ones you see on YouTube). The Honda Odyssey has been the best selling car in America for the last 40 or so years. There are lots of different versions and it's one that we have to be very careful with and understand, as we tend to have a very narrow window of knowledge on the cars of that period in the US (about a half million in all) and most of them are not that easy to understand.

That's exactly the kind of thing I was wondering. I was hoping to have a little conversation where I could explain why I don't like auto-motor companies. I hope they would be honest about it and give advice about what I think is best. I was hoping that at some point, someone would give me an honest answer that could be honest, yet also provide the best information to be helpful to me. I know auto-motor companies do this, but I hope they would be able to provide a straight answer that would be able to inspire me to write my own honest work or to help me achieve my own goals. Great work on writing this!
You might be surprised to see how many car companies sell cars that are poorly designed, or that are so poorly designed that the person who bought it couldn't have possibly known about it beforehand.
A little bit of a different perspective. I really just want cars that are reliable, and people can afford it. I don't really care what style or what kind of car it is. I just want one that is reliable, and people can afford it. I don't think this is a new thing, though.

The idea of a car company failing is horrifying to me. The reality is that they are not making a car for the customers. They are making a deal with the government which in many countries is in direct conflict with their own laws. They are going to have to pay taxes which in many places are not paid and then they will have to deal with people who will refuse to accept their car and in many cases will use stolen or copied cars. In the US they have to deal with the FED which will impose huge fines on people who own the cars and I fear this in a big way. They can make money off of these people but it will affect their quality of life because the majority of their customers are the poor and destitute. If you read my writing you will see how I feel about this situation. I have lived in a country where I do not own a car. But I am not poor or destitute. But the thing is that people like me don’t live here. They do not live there. The people who do live here are people who are desperate. They are scammers and con men. They are using these people as tools of their trade. I cannot stand being a part of this. But what is even scarier to me is how they treat the poor. They are going to give these people a shitty car that they do not need and are going to keep them in debt to them for years. And they are going to keep on giving these people crap until they break their back trying to fix it but they keep getting back up and they keep repeating the same thing over and over and over again. So I decided to make a video about it. I shot a short video with my phone and put the edited video on my insta so people could see it for free. I then put that video on youtube.com/user/TheWanderingBook/ and it has been on there for over a year now. So I decided to make a video about the corrupt nature of our corrupt government and how I was going to make a change and donate the funds I got from the people to it. And the response was amazing and I got so many likes from people who shared it with me and I decided to keep on posting it even if it was for a while cause I just really wanted people to see it and I wanted to give people a part 2. So here I am and I have a bunch of people I met on tinder talking about corruption. And the fact that they were going to donate to a corrupt government cause they were going to get a good part 2.
