South Africa bans eating pork in public

I am not even a vegan but I can't eat any meat for any reason, and I also cannot eat a whole roast (not even meat) without some kind of cheese.

I am not a vegan, I eat meat in the most dangerous way possible. You are not allowed to eat meat.
Why can't I eat meat without cheese?

The smoking ban in SA was lifted yesterday. The reason for lifting it, is the health and safety of the people. I'm not gonna bore you with the specifics of how this is done, but there is one simple rule to remember. Always wear a mask while smoking. It makes it harder for others to see. Now, this applies to all smoking in SA (unless you are smoking elsewhere in the world) Smokers have been allowed to use a special device called an inhaler for this reason, which works by filling in the lungs with a special air. So basically, the lungs fill up with air and then exhale the air. A very annoying rule to learn, but it's a good rule to follow. Now, if you have a phobia of pigs in general, or any other kind of animals, then you might want to check out some of the local stores. They have a good selection of phobias. But hey, at least the air is clean. So anyway, if you are a smoker in SA, you can relax!

I’ve been there too, that restaurant had an early bird ban and I don’t recall ever seeing a pig outside. I’ve had the odd chicken but nothing like a pigskin.

The SA smoke ban was introduced due to concerns about secondhand exposure of secondhand smoke from joints (both from restaurants/cafes) with large children. We have also heard that people are having difficulty breathing. This is mainly a health issue, but has also been linked both to poor air quality at night time - which may or may not be related...to unhealthy cooking habits for some. In addition there are other health issues including emphysema, bronchitis(a common cold-like illness), COPD (chronic obstructive pulmonary disease).

This isn't oniony, it’s just a matter of state policy. I thought that the south was not one of the countries that have had to ban all kinds of smoking on a personal level. I just watched this movie and the first thing I saw was someone getting a little stoned in public, probably because they’re too high. The same could be an issue for the north. It’s always the health of the state. I'm pretty sure they're still banning cigarettes

There is a new law that has been passed. It means that only in the dark, or if food is served at a table, eating pork is banned in the public. This law is not applicable in public places, but it will become applicable when you eat pork in an establishment such as a fast food place, a fast casual restaurant, or a fast casual sit down place. I don't have a high tolerance for people taking advantage of me for a little work. If I ever work hard and eat healthy food, I don't want to have to work so hard to afford food. So... I'd rather have a big fat ass that’s constantly hungry than one that just eats healthy food like I usually do.

There was an announcement made earlier today that there will be no more BBQs open for the next 4 years. This ban hasn't been finalized yet but we are aware of a number organisations across SA making similar statements.

Aww, what happened to us. We have an entire group of LGBT people that has been persecuted by the South African government for nearly three decades, we are at war with the Afrikaner state government. And now, we are at the mercy of a cabal of politicians that want to destroy our community. How sad!!

Nah. I dont see whats happening in this post. Im just gonna say that the fact that the government is banning restaurants selling pork in South Africa is actually quite concerning. In some places, you cant tell that the owner is charging more for their product than the customer, even if youve ordered a pork from the grocery store.
- And also, you have to know that there is a legal loophole to this rule.
