- I want to know how he converted to Christianity. He did visit India several times, but they were not like those European churches where a visit by a religious leader will be the equivalent of a lifetime achievement.

  I believe his conversion to Christianity was a result of the Indian sageates becoming a form of missionary work by Europeans. I was surprised that he never actually got to the local Hindu sages for guidance. He probably thought they were a bunch of hippies. I suspect that he may have also thought the monks were weird because they didn't worship the same gods as the Vedic gurus did.

  The mods don’t say a lot of comments on the sub do they, but I do remember a comment that said “it’s not a sub but rather a subreddit for those with sex addiction and are not even here to see if you are doing it anymore.” That seems like a weird take on this sub.
