Cultural appropriation is the new face of racism, but some say it's not an issue for them

Some see racism as a "protected class," but no, they aren't. It's their class.

I would say the thing that sticks out to me the most about this is that they have to learn to use their privilege, as well as learn to respect their privilege, in order to be a successful member of society.
- I agree. Some people don't like that people don't have it and act like it is all over them, that is when it's important to learn to be a proud one. Not just as if that means they think you are ugly, but it is something that is needed and necessary to make others proud. The first step is to start accepting that people do not know all the answers and it's not like they never already know everything and that they can't just take it out of someone's mouth just because of their privileged status. The second step is to treat someone equally regardless of your privilege. In fact I'm so sick and sick of this type of racism where people act so mean that they act like they know all the answers, when in reality they know very little.

No, there is no protected class. They are people, and they are not allowed to take their rights away. It's all about them
- This is true, but if the person can't take it, what's the point?
- What you really want to do with a class is to isolate them from their class status. By the same token, it should be okay to identify and isolate yourself. No, there is no privileged class.
  
  I am an asshole for making this kind of statement about my own experiences as a student at school (a lot of people have said they were bullied by classmates). This particular incident happened when I was 11 years old and we had just finished our last term together during which time everyone else who knew me well started calling me out because someone called him names like he did some sort

And they don't get to choose between cultural appropriation and racism
- Cultural appropriation is where people take something from another culture and try to play it without that person having consent to do so
