Some see racism as a "protected class," but no, they aren't. It's their class.
I would say the thing that sticks out to me the most about this is that they have to learn to use their privilege, as well as learn to respect their privilege, in order to be a successful member of society.
I agree. Some people don't like that people don't have it and act like it is all over them, that is when it's important to learn to be a proud one. Not just as if that means they think you are ugly, but it is something that is needed and necessary to make others proud. The first step is to start accepting that people do not know all the answers and it's not like they never already know everything and that they can't just take it out of someone's mouth just because of their privileged status. The second step is to treat someone equally regardless of your privilege. In fact I'm so sick and sick of this type of racism where people act so mean that they act like they know all the answers, when in reality they know very little.
And you would agree with this statement
