How important is it for you to have a series actually finish? Or do you prefer the sitcom model where it's kept alive for as long as someone is willing to buy it?

Hmmm... Good question.
I guess I prefer contained works over ever-running stuff, but that's more about these "sitcom model" LNs often degrading significantly over time or losing their novelty factor.
I dislike series that doesn't seem to go nowhere. How long they take to get there is relevant to me as long as it feels like it's progressing to a conclusion. And if this conclusion lets the door open for a "new chapter" it's even better. A perfect example of this would be Bookworm.
