Fuck knows if this counts as thrash, heavy metal, or death, but whatever it is, it absolutely rocks.
Truth be told, the vocals are a bit heavier than I generally lean towards, but the riffs are top notch. Anyone have any suggestions that sound like this, but with a bit more singing thrown in?
I'm hearing loads of death metal laden with heavy metal. While the riffs are indeed fuckin awesome I probably wouldn't classify it as thrash.
Metal Archives is being useful as ever (/s) in the recommended department as all they rec are more death metal bands with low growling. This does kinda sound like a less atmospheric, higher production Amon Amarth from before Fate of Norns, where Johan Hegg had a higher scream/growl - but that's just based on what I know xD.
