Australia wins gold medal in Women’s basketball at the Olympic Games, but they lose in the bronze medal match.
- I am pretty sure they lost in the bronze medal match.
We are all still trying to come to terms with the fact that a small country just beat an even smaller team in a game that they were playing with no one on their home team. It is just as weird as it is bizarre.
- There's more to this than meets the eye, and it's certainly not a one-game wonder either
Can't wait to see a comment like this.
- Sure. But with that said, we haven't seen that kind of thing in a long time and that's what it would take for the game to be abandoned for the female teams to have an opportunity to win gold.
The Australian team has been the strongest and the hottest team in history.
Can't we just keep using the same pronouns in both of these? I'm not gonna be doing this for a while.
