Hi r/asktransgender, I want to get to know my new gf and maybe see what she thinks of me. If she does, is it just for me to keep it a secret?

Hi there, Im a pretty white man. Ive been dating my "girlfriend" for a year and a half and Ive been slowly learning about her as the weeks have gone on. But shes been very accepting. We have a "house" together and Ive been staying at her place all day and its nice to see her being happy with herself. But lately, Ive started seeing a lot of pictures of her and shes just starting to get a little more masculine in her clothing. She keeps telling me that Im really a guy but she always just looks like a girl and Im just worried about being a bad person. She even asked me to send pictures of her before we went on the first date. Im worried about how her body language would change when we start dating again and if she even knows her true gender.

I am a white guy. I am also a trans guy. And I am getting a lot of people confused because people are assuming I am the "transgender" guy. I don’t want to be a trans person. I am also a white guy. I think it’s amazing that a guy like her can make a big difference. I think I could do some good in her world with some extra support. I think I could show her that I really am a guy and that I know her identity. I have to admit, I’m surprised that the way she is presenting herself makes me feel good. She’s a cute girl, though, and I feel like I could really help her feel more comfortable. I’ve been a part of this subreddit for over a year. I am a big redditor, but I am not a "team player."
