Those babies are probably bigger than half the world's adult owls! 🙂
I did a post a little bit ago about snags and the Great Greys. A snag is a dead/dying tree where the top has fallen off, like in this video. This doesn't happen to just any tree, and takes a long time to happen, so this is a great example why old forests need to be protected. If we want more Great Grays, we need more old forest habitat.
