  • I have to say teaching drums is going super well at the moment. The kids and some adults I'm teaching are very keen, interested, and some of them are actually on a higher level compared to what I initially thought it would be. Shout out to 2 of my teenager drumming nerds.

Been to a free music festival near me recently and ouh boi, that was odd. I watched a band I know quite well performing and they spotted me in the audience. They insisted on me coming to the stage and held a big fucking speech like:

"Do you know who this is? Without this lass we wouldn't be here today. She taught us all we know about music ages ago. Make some fucking noise!"

I am a fairly shy person, never used my real name for anything I recorded and I always hated being on stage performing. Anyway...

Lots of clapping hands involved, and my one friend helping me on stage... I was betrayed! Lol. I was facing the band, right? Back to the audience. My one friend hugged me, said "sorry" into my ear, and then just pushed me backwards into the crowd. Luckily they catched me. Is there something like "involuntarily stage diving"? ^^

I only had a few split seconds to think. A) I'll raise my right hand since I'm holding a glass bottle and I do not want to injure anyone. B) Please, for the love of God, someone catch me, pleaseeee?

It was fine, actually. But yeah, stagediving - never do that shite, dear kids, teens, adults. Just don't. It is super dangerous. I admit that I've done it a few times (maybe 3?) back when I was a stupid late teenager on stage performing, but growing up - never do that, I urge anyone to mark my words. There are so many things which can go terribly wrong. It's not cool to do such a stupid thing. I hope everybody understands that. Always be careful while performing, always look out for others.

Crowdsurfing is slightly different to that. Less hazardous, but still kind of dangerous in case something goes wrong.

Always be safe and sound, my dear fellow people. And remember, safety u/totallynotspez really urges you to look out for one another at each and every live concert. :)

  • Hiiii, how are you cuties?

  • Feeling down and low energy without an easily identified reason. Gotten plenty of sunshine (too much even) this weekend. I wish I had more free time.
