Thank you all for the kind words and advice (it's mostly just what I was dreading). We are making great progress through both drugs and rest. She is currently asleep but will be awake as soon As possible for about 12 hours total. Meanwhile - WOW! Does this feel different than when our first pregnancy started? It's definitely different, but we have both had some nights where the baby slept multiple solid hours plus a good bit of wake-up sleep. Not to mention having an actual cervix and getting the help of a doula/physician really helped set the stage for tonights birth. We did not have

That's pretty awesome that you took a risk with this guy? It was good to hear from him again though! There's always been the possibility that he might come back for another season or two but we're all waiting with bated breath until they actually announce it publicly (which is likely not this year). But what can I say? He gets better every time around so there may be some upside in wait… -Steve
