For a point of comparison, Edinburgh in Scotland (which has a smaller but fairly similar population to Helsinki both in the actual city and the surrounding metropolitan area) had an average of 629 casualties per year from 2019-2023. Assuming the national numbers apply to Edinburgh then about 2.6%, or 16 of those, would be deaths. Edinburgh is a pretty good city to get around without a car too
