I was watching random body cam footage recently and in one of the arrests they commented that the traffic stop/detention was because flock had identified unusual multi state activity. The cops had absolutely nothing else to work with but because the drivers in the group of cars didn't speak much English they were able to force illegal searches and found that they were carrying high value goods that they felt were stolen. The whole thing was a huge mess of insane 4th and 5th amendment violations.

I wonder if the ai will notice that the only camera i hit is the one right outside my job and nowhere else even though my town is positively flooded with them.
- Bear in mind the map is far from compete. It's best to learn what they look like so you can ID them in real time. Also the issue isn't your commute, it's when you deviate from it for whatever purpose. For instance, if you need to go pick up a friend from a protest you'll need to map a specific route to avoid them.
  
  Indeed. Which is why I've likened it to a weirdly modern underground railroad.
  Knowing how to navigate at least my town and id say roughly 20 miles of radius around where i live without hitting any is a skill i have, i just hope it won't be useful.
  But yes, keep an eye out for poles with small solar panels, or black cameras on the BACK of stoplight arms. Keep in mind most of these cameras have to be at eye level or just above to get a clear shot of as many licenses as possible.
  A brief scenario where someone tailgating you may be a good thing lol.

Would something like this hold up in court, I wonder? Could a prosecutor argue that "the algorithm said so" is enough probable cause?
- Works like this, cop gets told to look out for your car. He sees you and follows you, sooner or later you do something that let's him justify pulling you over then he asks you a bunch of questions and decides you are acting nervous, or smells alcohol, or smells pot. Then he either convinces you to let him search your car or he gets a dog to come say it smells drugs, or and this is my favorite he gets you upset by getting in your personal space and amping you up, then when he quickly reaches for your arm and you jerk away he can arrest you for resisting. Then they search the car to make sure everything is documented for impound, then they seize money and expensive things to make sure it isn't connected to any crimes.
  Charges against you get dropped or you plead to something lesser and you walk, but now you have to prove that your shit was legally yours.
