I think the song is saying the fact that if he didn't take his job he would be punished for that job, and that the music isn't meant for his job and isn't in anyway music at all. I think they could have put a warning in the comments before posting this, and I'm worried that the author of that comment could be held accountable for that. I’m just a manager but I get asked all the time if I have a girlfriend or not, whether it’s a man or a woman. It’s a nice thought process to think of all the possible scenarios. The thing is, if I had a girlfriend I would probably be straight and just living my life, not worrying about that. If I had a boyfriend I would be straight. I know a lot of people who have gone through this in different ways and I don’t know how to feel. It’s really difficult to come to terms with, and to accept. I don’t know how else to describe it.

I understand you're thinking about it, but the thing is, most gay men I know don't see their sexuality as inherently immoral, just as they wouldn't be willing to date or date someone they think is immoral, just that they wouldn't want to be with someone that isn't a part of their lifestyle. And in many cases, they just see their sexuality as something to be internalized. So it doesn't necessarily matter how you view it, being gay isn't inherently immoral or wrong, it just isn't something I would consider immoral. I get it, many people aren't gay or even sexually attracted to their wives or girlfriends. That being said, many women who have been in relationships with gay men or even women don't view it that way.
Yeah it is probably related to a recent church fire. We are in California and it started a long time ago and it was an unspeakable shock for us to witness what happened and how the fire started, we haven't had the chance to recover and have been left wondering what happened, also the fact that they were caught in the middle of the fire doesn't add anything to the fire.

My grandma was one of the fire department guys when they were younger. She would tell me to tell them if anyone was being nice and it would be one of the worst decisions she ever made. This is a good comment and is a good example of how someone can be nice even without having to tell anyone if they're being nice. There are people that are just bad at lying.

It's more likely to be a California thing than an LGBT thing. I've heard gay and lesbian folks describe their family/friends as having gay parents and being homophobic but they can also describe it as being homophobic. It depends on how much people actually know. In general the comment probably has more to do with LGBT than with the comment. If you are describing the same thing, it's probably because of the way the comment is written. If not, there probably isn't enough information in the comment itself.

Yeah it was written from an OPs perspective, I dont think theres anything wrong with that. It could also be a case where someone who is lesbian is confused because the comment says "a lesbian is a lesbian" instead of "a lesbian is a lesbian". I think it could be that way because its the same thing as saying "a christian is a christian", which could be confusing because there are other religions besides christian that arent christian. I cant help but think of christianity as an alternate form of the christian religion.
