I'd like to know if there is a way for me to avoid it, and if there are any subreddits that can be used for that.

I’m not a doctor, but I've never seen this type of thing before, so I’d think that it could be managed in most settings. There is a lot of potential for it, including medical issues (like PTSD from past sexual abuse), but I'd say it's most likely to be diagnosed and controlled within a specific age group. Most likely to be mild/moderate/no-moderate, depending on individual circumstances. It is probably more common in men than it is in women.

I just don't think it's a bad thing to be in a stinger.
