CalyxOS develepers are suggesting to not use CalyxOS for at least four to six months. This is due to two developers leaving the project and a lack of security updates beginning now until they figure some things out.

The 4 most important things for stripping Google out of your life are:
Everything else is nice to have, but not as “signal generating”.
Remove those and set your Google History to 30 days in your account settings and Google loses a lot of your identity really fast.
Kinda sucks that for yt they basically just lost frontends instead of shouting out things like PeerTube. But it's at least better than nothing.
Also, ever since I've been having problems with FreeTube on desktop, I've had little problems with Materialious. In case anyone cares about seemingly more private yt viewing and doesn't care about view history.

I think that its also important to cancel the data available on search engines in order to complete this process. Remember that your social network profiles are often visible on the internet and this is very valuable data for corporations and AI companies.
Nothwistanding this, I am also trying to not put any of my data online if it is not really needed. For exanple, I prefer to store my files on usb sticks instead of cloud services.
I bought a Fairphone 6 with e/os and I'm looking forward to it.
Good for you! I got the FP5 with e/OS and I am very happy.
