ProtonVPN blocks DuckDuckGo on Windows, but not on Mac

Having a weird issue and hoping to get help.

I use DuckDuckGo as my search engine. When I turn on ProtonVPN on my Windows machine, DDG is unreachable. I've tried switching nodes, but every time the same thing happens: It lets me access DDG for a few minutes and then totally blocks it.

But on my Mac, everything is working great. I can access DDG even with ProtonVPN turned on.

Anyone know why this is happening and how to fix?
