I don’t see how this is Elon’s fault. Did you even read the article? It says this guy has hundreds of accounts that keep getting taken down, but new ones pop up just as fast.
I honestly don’t know what people expect beyond removing the content and accounts once they’re reported. Most people don’t seem too eager to have some AI tool monitoring everything in real time, and I’m not even sure that would help here when it’s just suggestive emojis and shady links.

Twitter made over a billion dollars last year. They have just over 2800 employees. I highly doubt they have a huge staff dedicated to moderation. Most of these accounts use similar hashtags for CSAM. They could full time hire 1000 more moderators to go through reports of CSAM and it would be a drop in the bucket of their profits. Disable new accounts accused of CSAM instantly until a manual review is made. These are suggestions better suited to a safety committee, if they had one.
