Soooo... Child trafficking?
- It's not the most relevant to THIS guy, but in general, a government purposefully separating parents from their children with no means of reunion is one of the named conditions of cultural genocide.
  Literally, it's part (e) of the UN Resolution, the 'Genocide Convention.'

  We spent so long discussing the legitimate genocide in Palestine, and yet, so little on the damn genocide that has been happening within our borders since 2016.

- From now on, you can't trust any statement the government puts out. Governments have always lied to save face, but this is a new level where they don't even have to pretend to have an argument or a spin on things. It's "Oops! All Lies!" because it's easier.

- When he was taken into custody Friday morning, immigration agents tied his dog to a tree and then unclipped his collar, allowing the animal to run loose on Sepulveda Boulevard, according to the GoFundMe page.

  Unfortunately I haven't been able to find any information on whether the dog was ultimately recovered or if he's still missing
