I hate this "it is time for..." rhetoric. It was never time for him to start in the first place. "it's time for..." implies there before now, he was doing OK. No that is not what happened here. His publicly expressed opinions were more than enough evidence that people would die because of his beliefs and that he should not have been in place to begin with.

So it's not time for him to go. That time was second 1 of minute 1 of day 1 of him being nominated.
